What's the Solterra's Range?
According to Subaru, the Solterra's 72.8-kWh battery pack, when sitting on 18-inch wheels, has a range of about 228 miles. Models with 20-inch wheels are said to have about 222 miles of range.

How Fast Does the Solterra Charge?
When plugged into a Level 2 charging home station, the Solterra can be fully recharged in about nine hours. When hooked up to a DC fast charger, the vehicle only takes about 56 minutes to reach an 80-percent charge.
Does the Solterra Need a Special Home Charger?
No. Every Solterra comes with a compact Level 1 charger that plugs right into a standard outlet and offers ten miles of range per hour. For faster charging, a Level 2 charger is required and an electrician will need to install it. Luckily, when you buy a new Solterra, Subaru gives you a $400 credit for installing a home charger.
What's the Solterra's Horsepower
Powered exclusively by its battery pack and two electric motors, the Solterra, and its all-wheel drive system can generate a combined 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. Depending on the drive mode selected, the vehicle's power can be distributed in different ways. These drive models include: Eco, Normal, Power, and X-mode.
Can the Solterra Go Off-Road?
Yes! Like every other Subaru model, the Solterra is more than capable of venturing off the beaten path. This is partly due to its 8.3 inches of ground clearance, its standard Symmetrical All Wheel Drive, and its drive mode, X-mode, which offers improved traction.
Is the Solterra a Limited Model?
Yes. Subaru plans to only produce between 10,000 and 15,000 Solterras models in 2023. If this model interests you, speak to our sales team about purchasing one.
