In May, Crews Subaru of Charleston proudly supported a range of impactful community events, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to local engagement. Despite challenging weather on May 2, the Dragon Boat Charleston event was a success, raising an impressive $109,853 for cancer research, while the planned Airshow was unfortunately canceled, with anticipation already building for its return in 2028. The team also showed support for local sports by attending Charleston Battery soccer games on May 3 and May 30. Mid-month, from May 14–17, they participated in Charleston Friends of the Library’s “That BIG Book Sale,” which featured over 50,000 books and helped fund vital literacy initiatives throughout Charleston County.
May Events
May 2nd: Dragon Boat Charleston - While the weather wasn't the best this year, the event still went great! This year, Dragon Boat was able to raise $109,853 for cancer research.
May 2nd: The Airshow was canceled because of the weather, so the Blue Angels were not able to fly. The Airshow will be back in 2028 with the Thunderbirds.
May 3rd: Charleston Battery Soccer Game
May 14th - 17th: Charleston Friends of the Library "That BIG Book Sale" event showcased a vast collection of more than 50,000 books. This event raised money for local literacy and money for Charleston County Libraries literacy programs.

June 6th & 13th: Charleston Battery Soccer Game
June 15th: Ronald McDonald House of Charleston "McDonald’s Dr Pepper Charity Golf Classic Presented by Crews Subaru". This tournament is to raise money for daily operations of the house.
June 17th: We will be delivering blankets to MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for Subaru Loves to Care Month with Blood Cancer United (formerly LLS). This will be our 15th year partnering with them and doing the blanket drop off.
