August was a busy and rewarding month for the Crews Subaru team as we continued our commitment to supporting local organizations, schools, and families throughout the Lowcountry. From providing backpacks and school supplies to students in need, to celebrating education, literacy, inclusion, and community events, we were proud to partner with several outstanding organizations making a positive impact. Take a look at some of the highlights from our August community involvement efforts.
August 1st: Jeans Angels Backpack Giveaway - We were the presenting sponsor of Jeans Angels 11th Annual Backpack Giveaway. We helped giveaway over 1,500 backpacks and school supplies to those in need, as well as some other essential supplies for the whole family.
August 1st: Crews Subaru Night at the Charleston Battery - Crews Subaru was the presenting sponsor of the Charleston Battery Soccer Game.
August 5th: Nexton Elementary Subaru Loves Learning Drop off - We dropped off our Subaru Loves Learning school supply boxes and breakfast t the teachers Nexton Elementary on their first day back in the classroom. This is our 5th year partnering with Nexton Elementary and their teachers.
August 6 - 8: Charleston Friends of the Library Summer Book Sale at the Citadel Mall - Crews Subaru was the presenting sponsor of the CFOL Summer Book Sale.
August 19th: Surfers Healing - Crews Subaru is honored to support Surfers Healing and their mission to bring the joy and healing power of surfing to children with autism and their families. This event is truly special to be part of, and we are always honored to get to be there and help the team with their mission.

September 4th: Red Cross Blood Drive from 11:00am – 4:00pm in the showroom of Crews Subaru, 8261 Rivers Avenue.

September 17th: Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Business Expo: Crews Subaru is the presenting sponsor of the 16th Annual Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Expo. It is from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., at the Omar Shrine Convention Center.
September 19th and 26th: Charleston Battery Soccer Game
