April was a meaningful and action-packed month at Crews Subaru as we proudly celebrated Subaru Loves the Earth Month by giving back to our community in ways that truly matter. From supporting lifesaving blood drives and championing environmental education to cheering on local athletes and investing directly in organizations that uplift families and neighbors in need, April reflected our commitment to making a positive local impact on people, the planet, and the places we call home.

4/6: Blood Drive
4/11: Plantasia with the CHS Hort: Crews Subaru was a sponsor of Plantasia with CHS Hort. This was a huge plant sale with classes to learn how to take care of plants. This tied in perfectly with Subaru Loves the Earth.
4/18: Charleston Battery Soccer Game: We are the automotive sponsor of the Charleston Battery Soccer team.
4/22: Share the Love Check presentations with Ronald McDonald House Charites of Charleston and Jeans Angels. We began the morning at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, where we presented them with a $40,000 check. This contribution will help support daily operations of the House, allowing them to continue providing comfort, care, and essential resources to families with hospitalized children during difficult times.
Later in the afternoon, we welcomed the Jeans Angels team into our showroom and presented them with a $40,000 donation as well. Their work supporting the unhoused and underprivileged in our community continues to make a meaningful impact in our community.
4/25: Berkley Electric Bright 5K: Berkley Electric Bright 5K. This 5K was raising money for our local teachers. They raised just over $50,000 that will directly benefit 50 local teachers through the Bright Ideas educational grant program. Proceeds from the race fund raised up to $1,500 to support innovative and effective classroom projects that the school doesn't otherwise cover.
May Events:
5/2: Dragon Boat Charleston: At Brittle Bank Park 8am. Dragon Boat promotes physical and mental wellness among cancer survivors and their community through dragon boating.
5/2: Charleston Battery Soccer game at 7pm.
5/4: Red Cross Blood Drive Monday, May 4th, 11:00am – 4:00pm in the showroom of Crews Subaru, 8261 Rivers Avenue.

5/4: Butch Barfield Golf Classic
5/14-17: Charleston Friends of the Library "That BIG Book Sale" at Omar Shrine Auditorium with over 50,000 books. This is their biggest book sale of the year to raise money for local literacy at all 18 of the Charleston county libraries.
5/30: Charleston Battery Soccer Game.
