At Crews Subaru of Charleston, we take pride in serving our communities beyond selling our customers quality Subaru vehicles. We regularly host and participate in events to support those who support us. This March was a busy month for us, so here is everything we got up to in Charleston!
The Recap
March 1st: Crews Subaru was the valet sponsor for the South Carolina Make-A-Wish Gala. This is a great event every year to raise money to fund Make-a-Wish kids' wishes!
March 8th: We took part in the Palmetto Park Jam with Charleston County Parks and Recreation. We enjoyed live music and a beautiful day around the park with our community.
March 9th, 15th, & 23rd: We sponsored the SC Stingrays Subaru Family Sunday.
March 9th: We helped with the oyster Roast to raise money for Pet Helpers. Pet Helpers Oyster Roast saves dogs and cats around Mount Pleasant and nearby communities.
March 12th: We sponsored the Hallie Hill Spay and Neuter Clinic opening, helping keep the stray dog and cat population under control.
March 13th - 15th: Crews Subaru of Charleston sponsored the Charleston Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale at Otranto to raise money for after-school programs, such as learning English as a second language.
March 14th: Ten years ago, we met a little girl who was undergoing chemo treatment while we delivered blankets to MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. She is now 18 years old and ran for Student Visionary with LLS to help continue to raise money for cancer research.
March 15th - 22nd: Crews Subaru of Charleston started Subaru Loves the Earth Month off a little early by distributing trees through Subaru's partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. We gave away 200 trees - an assortment of Red Maples, Alexandra Magnolias, Chinese Pistache, Crape myrtles, and Bald Cypress.
March 22nd: We sponsored an Oyster Roast and Chili cookoff through Bo's Roast with Islands Against Cancer at James Island County Park to raise money for Islands Against Cancer for cancer research.
March 27th: We sponsored Yappy Hour, a happy hour at the Wannamaker County Park with Charleston County Parks and Recreation dog park.
