At Crews Subaru of Charleston, giving back to the community is an important part of who we are. This November, our team was proud to support several important causes and organizations. Here's a look at some of the ways we gave back this month.
Lowvelo Bike Ride for MUSC Hollings Cancer Center
On November 2nd, Crews Subaru participated in the Lowvelo Bike Ride to raise money for cancer research at the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. Riders could choose from 5 different routes, with the longest spanning an impressive 80 miles. Our dealership in North Charleston was honored to support this event and contribute to the fight against cancer. Many of our staff members and customers reside in nearby Hanahan, and we're dedicated to supporting the health of residents throughout the area.
Stingrays Hockey Family Sundays
As the presenting sponsor of the Stingrays Hockey Family Sundays, Crews Subaru aims to enhance family fun and entertainment in the Summerville area. We love bringing the community together through events like this that everyone can enjoy. It's just one of the many ways we try to give back to Summerville and the surrounding towns.
Paws in the Park with the Charleston Animal Society
The animal lovers at Crews Subaru were thrilled to be the presenting sponsor at Paws in the Park on November 23rd. This annual event, hosted by the Charleston Animal Society, features a chili cookoff and oyster roast to raise money to support local animals in need. Our Mount Pleasant customers often express their passion for animal welfare, so we jump at any opportunity to help out our four-legged friends.
Christmas Decorating at the Ronald McDonald House
On November 25th, the Crews Subaru team carried out our yearly tradition of helping decorate the Ronald McDonald House of Charleston for Christmas. We unpacked their decorations and set up trees to get the house ready for other sponsors to add the finishing touches. The Ronald McDonald House provides critical support to families from places like Goose Creek and West Ashley during challenging times, and we're grateful to play a small part in spreading some holiday cheer.
