The Subaru Crosstrek is one of the most popular models in the automakers lineup, so it should come to no surprise that it's coming back for 2018. This time, the 2018 Crosstrek debuts a new and completely refreshed look for the upcoming model-year — so naturally Subaru is excited to show it off at all of the auto shows.

The exterior design is bigger and bolder with an elevated stance, expressive lighting and sweeping lines. The interior upgrades are exciting and advanced, with a 6.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The Limited trim will come outfitted with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display. All trims feature a 60/40 split-folding rear seat and power locks and mirrors. Higher-trims will see features like six-way power driver's seat, push-button start, keyless entry, leather-wrapped details, LED lighting and moonroof.

When it comes to safety, the new Crosstrek will feature Subaru's EyeSight system, which includes autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Drivers can choose to add blind spot monitoring, among other advanced features. Further, Subaru also reports that the new Crosstrek is designed to increase crash energy absorption by 40 percent. Finally, performance. The base will come with a six-speed manual transmission and 154-horsepower engine. EPA has yet to rate the Crosstrek, but we're assuming it will be quite fuel-efficient given Subaru's reputation.

As we gather further details on the 2018 Crosstrek, we will be sure to inform you. Until then, feel free to check out our new Subaru inventory to see if we have anything available meets your current driving needs.
