The 2013 PORK, PINTS & PEARLS has been rescheduled for THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 2.
The event will be held same time and same place: Children's Park from 3 to 7 p.m. At this time we have confirmed the majority of the logistics and we are working hard to solidify the rest. Oysters will be provided from Charleston Outdoor Catering, A performance from Peace Love and Hip Hop is secured and THE TRAVIS ALLISON BAND WILL PERFORM!!!
Children's Entertainment will include all the previously planned activities: 2 - Jump Castles (one for smaller children ages 2-4, and another for 5 and up), petting zoo, face painters, children's photo booth and a paint station from Fear No Easel. Children's food Southern Sides from Mama Browns and BBQ from Hamby Catering. Our silent auction items are ready to go!
The beer truck will be waiting to tap domestic and import beers and wine and Firefly will be served for adults that show proof of ID (cash and credit will be accepted for the purchase of alcoholic beverages).
Please note, our online ticketing system only captures the email address of the person that purchases the tickets online for their party. Therefore, we do not have contact information for additional attendees within your party - PLEASE forward this information to everyone in your party as well as co-workers, family, neighbors or friends that may have previously purchased tickets. Thank you for your support in spreading the word.
We will be selling additional tickets to this event! Pre-event tickets can currently be purchased for $30 online a twww.windwoodfarm.org. We will have "day of ticket" sales available for $35 at the door ? these will be based on a first come first serve and we will have to sell out the event at 1500.
For those that have previously purchased advanced tickets: You do not need to purchase any additional tickets. Your ticket for last week's event wills serve as you ticket for this week's event. We still request that you bring your receipt in hand or on your smartphone to expedite the check in process. If you have misplaced this receipt or turned it in at Mama Brown's on Sat, please feel free to ask me to resend.
Also remember to bring chairs, ID's and cash or credit if you plan to bid on any silent auction items or purchase drink tickets (21 and older).
The committee would like to say a special thank you to Mama Browns who was scheduled to cater the BBQ and sides for the event. Mary Alice (the owner) and her team allowed us the opportunity to serve food to ticket holders who were able to come out to her location on the corner of 41 and 17. In three hours we served more than 400 plates of BBQ! Wow!!!
